Nazli Buhary

As a partner at Zuber & Company LLP, Nazli practices exclusively in insurance defence litigation since joining the firm in 2015. Admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2005, she honed her civil litigation skills at a leading Toronto law firm. Nazli’s expertise spans an extensive spectrum, encompassing personal injury, professional negligence, occupiers’ liability, product liability, construction defect claims, property damage, subrogation, life insurance, and more. Nazli has successfully advocated for her clients including professionals, government and policing entities, municipalities, and educational and religious organizations, and is a trusted advisor to both Canadian and American insurers.

Nazli has comprehensive experience across all stages of legal action, and regularly appears in court as well as in alternate dispute resolution forums, securing favourable outcomes for numerous clients.

Nazli was recognized for academic and oratorical excellence and received many awards in law school at the University of Colombo and her international experience includes a judicial internship at the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.  She is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations and Canadian Defence Lawyers.

Nazli speaks multiple languages including conversational Spanish. Beyond her legal career, Nazli enjoys spending time with her human and furry family, exploring the great outdoors, traveling the world, and participating in extreme sports.
