Jennifer McGlashan

Overview

Jennifer McGlashan is a Partner who practices civil litigation, and has extensive experience in a wide range of tort matters, including: motor vehicle accidents, personal injury, accident benefits, loss transfer, priority disputes, cargo loss, occupiers’ liability, property, construction, wills and estates, employment, products liability, class actions, accident health and life insurance, professional negligence, corporate commercial, franchise, subrogation, homeowner’s and general liability insurance claims.

Jennifer received a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Hons) from York University in 2002 and received her Bachelor of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2005. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006.

Jennifer was instrumental in growing the accident benefits group within the firm. Jennifer has a passion for advocacy and regularly appears before private arbitration and at various levels of Courts and Tribunals including the Ontario Superior Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Tribunal, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.

Jennifer is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, Canadian Defence Lawyers and The Advocates’ Society.

Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. Outside of law, Jennifer enjoys figure skating, skiing, golfing, scuba diving and traveling with her family.
