Commercial and Residential Real Estate Lawyer

Multi-service, mid-sized law firm seeking to expand its team of lawyers within the area of Commercial and Residential Real Estate.

An opportunity exists for a motivated and ambitious individual with 5-8 years of experience.

• The ideal candidate will have 3 – 6 years practicing in banking and financial services law, and related corporate commercial law, and have demonstrated experience independently managing files.
• The ideal candidate will have experience representing both borrowers and lenders in a diverse range of corporate and commercial settings as well as experience in secured lending, project and acquisition financing, structured finance and securitization.
• Experience with cross-border and international financing as well bond financings would be an asset.
• Experience representing clients in insolvency proceedings will be considered an asset.
• The candidate must be a team player with strong analytical, personal, oral and written communication skills.
