Glen joined Zuber & Company as an associate in 2021 to develop a broad civil litigation practice focused on insurance defence with a special interest in coverage issues, property damage, motor vehicle liability, accident benefits and subrogation.
Glen Bushi completed his undergraduate degree at York University in 2010 in Political Science (Spec. Honours) and earned his Master’s Degree at McMaster University in International Relations in 2011. Prior to attending law school, Glen worked at a Hedge Fund Administration company for several years where he honed his data analysis and computer skills.
Glen attended at the University of Windsor and received his Juris Doctor in 2017. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018. While at the University of Windsor, Glen volunteered as a caseworker and then as a litigator at the Community Legal Aid in Windsor, assisting marginalized and underprivileged groups with their various legal matters. He also worked as a Research Assistant for the Legal Research and Writing class and partook in the Peer Mentorship program at the University of Windsor, where he assisted first-year law students with the challenges of law school. Glen was awarded the Samia Rose Shaheen Memorial Award in Legal Writing and the McTague Law Firm LLP Award for the highest mark in Business Associations.
At Zuber & Company, Glen has worked in a variety of areas of insurance litigation including motor vehicle, occupiers’ liability, property damage, and municipal claims as well as assisting in class actions. Prior to joining Zuber & Company, Glen articled and worked as an associate in a boutique Personal Injury firm where he argued contested and uncontested motions at the Superior Court of Justice on numerous occasions. Glen has also frequently appeared before the Small Claims Court and before the Licence Appeal Tribunal. Glen was co-counsel for a 3-week jury trial in the case of Mundinger v. Ashton, 2019 ONSC 7161.
When not working, enjoys playing soccer and basketball with his friends, and spending time with his family.
