Michelle has a broad civil litigation practice in all aspects of insurance defence including claims arising out of motor vehicle accidents, personal injury, occupiers’ liability, municipal liability, construction related losses, product liability, property damage, and subrogation.
Michelle obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2019 and called to the Ontario Bar in 2020. During law school, Michelle volunteered as a litigator at the Community Legal Aid Clinic in Windsor.
Before attending law school, Michelle completed her undergraduate degree (with Honours) from the University of Toronto in Political Science and English Literature. She also completed a Master of Public Administration at Dalhousie University and worked on various policy initiatives for the Government of Nova Scotia.
Prior to joining Zuber & Company, Michelle worked at a prominent personal injury firm in Toronto as an associate, representing plaintiffs in motor vehicle accidents, slip/trip and falls, accident benefits, and long-term disability claims. Michelle articled in the personal injury department at a full-service firm in Toronto.
Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, and cooking.
