Sydney graduated with distinction from Queen’s University in 2022, earning an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Global Development Studies. She went on to complete her Juris Doctor at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University in 2025.
During her time at law school, Sydney gained practical experience as a Student Caseworker at Lakehead University Community Legal Services, where she carried files under the practice areas of Tenant Rights, Small Claims, and Employment Law. She also served as President of the Women in Law Club and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, contributing to their Indigenous Human Rights Program.
Prior to joining the firm, Sydney summered at a full-service regional law firm, gaining experience in family law, wills and estates, and residential real estate. Outside of work, Sydney enjoys spending time with family and friends, discovering new restaurants, travelling and pilates.
